Two new child sex abuse investigations have been launched against former Penn state football coach Jerry Sandusky. Unlike the previous eight cases, these new alleged victims are still minors. NBC's Peter Alexander reports.
Msnbc.com staff and wire reports
Officials with The Children and Youth Services in Pennsylvania are investigating two new cases of child abuse alleged against former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, The Patriot News reported Tuesday.
If the new allegations -- reported less than 60 days ago -- are found to be credible, it would the first known cases involving people who are still under the age of 18, the newspaper reported.
The state's Children and Youth Services only investigates reports of abuse if victims are minors. All others are handled by police agencies, according to Pennsylvania law.
Sandusky faces 40 criminal counts accusing him of sexually abusing eight boys beginning in the mid-1990s. Authorities say some assaults happened on Penn State's campus and were reported to administrators but not to police agencies.
Sandusky has maintained his innocence.
Hearing delayed
Also on Tuesday, a judge delayed Sandusky's preliminary hearing in the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte, Pa.
The hearing, set for Tuesday, was rescheduled for Dec. 13, according to court records. The change was made “to accommodate the logistical needs involved in the hearing,” a posting on the courthouse website read.
Messages seeking comment from Sandusky’s attorney Joe Amendola and the state attorney general's office weren't immediately returned to msnbc.com or NBC News.
Amendola told ABC's "Good Morning America" on Tuesday that he was worried that there would be new criminal allegations against his client.
"My concern is, if they bring new charges based upon new people coming forward, that bail's going to be set and he's going to wind up in jail," Amendola said.
Sandusky was initially released on $100,000 unsecured bail, which means he didn't have to post collateral to be freed.
Until the preliminary hearing, prosecutors can seek to have bail modified by the district judge, Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin told The Associated Press. After that hearing, bail changes would have to be pursued by a county court petition, he said.
Scandal
Meantime, Pennsylvania court officials say all the judges in Penn State's home county have removed themselves from potentially presiding over the child sex-abuse case against Sandusky.
The Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts announced Tuesday that out-of-county judges have been named to deal with any related court business in the Centre County case.
The sex-abuse allegations have stunned Penn State and altered the image of its legendary college football coach, Joe Paterno, who was ousted amid the scandal.
Hearings for Gary Schultz and Tim Curley, the two former Penn State administrators accused of failing to properly report suspected abuse and of perjury before a grand jury, was set for Dec. 6 in the Dauphin County Courthouse in Harrisburg. Both maintain their innocence.

They should be talking to every child (whether now an adult or not- boys and girls) that this guy ever came in contact with. Pedophiles are an incurable group, they a get a taste for it and do not stop until they're made to stop. This guy needs to be put in a place where he can never ever have access to a child again.
Can't believe he's not in jail. That's wrong.
Anyone, who when interviewed, has to pause to answer the question, "Do you find young boys attractive?" should be locked up until the Earth implodes into the Sun.
Your concern? Sorry...but your concern should be to put him RIGHT THERE in prison, where he belongs. He shouldn't even be free on bail right now.
It is so good to see that so many people believe that a man is innocent until proven guilty! {sarcasm}
So far the only public evidence that anyone has seen is the accusations of one person, McQueary, whose story has changed several times now. I also read (sorry, can't find the link) that boy who was with Sandusky at the time has been identified and that he denies that anything abusive took place. There are reports that there are 10 people total who have come forward, but there has been no evidence presented yet to support their claims. I have seen too many of these cases where someone who was never abused comes forward saying "me too" because they are looking for a big civil settlement for me to take anyone's word without some evidence to back it up. I do not know if Sandusky is guilty or not. If he is guilty I hope he rots in prison for the rest of his life. However, I for one will withhold judgement until all of the evidence is heard. We have seen this before, like the big daycare scandal in CA, where it turned out that nothing had happened and people's lives were destroyed by false accusations. I am not saying that is happening here, but why not wait to hear the evidence before you convict the man!
OK - I have said my peace and I am ready for all the flames, so have at it.
JS in SD,
So according to you only one person,McQueary,is credible enough to consider. None of the many many victims? I'm sooo glad you live in SD and not in California. Only people from, backa#$wards places like SD, could come up with the argument that only a white adult male is a credible witness. Not the many children who are mostly adults now, or one of their mother's whom Sandusky confessed to, or the janitors, but that one adult white guy. Go seek counseling my friend!
He's a dead man..... as soon as he hits the system his ass is GRASS.... There is no AdSeg (Administrative Segration) that's totally secure, just ask Jeffrey Dahmer.
JS in SD, thank you. Why people do not understands that everyone is innocent until provven guilty is beyond me. If anyone posting the stuff on here was charged, they would be screaming bloody murder. Can't have rules for some and not others. N one positng here knows anything of their own personal knowledge, or wittnessed anything, or spoke with anyone making allegations, yet they KNOW everything. Pathetic.
The reality of all this crap is that sports are evil, just kidding. Shouldn't we ONLY be talking about the safety of innocent children. Regardless of guilt or innocence, it should ALL be about the survivors of abuse. Where are the parents?
From Penn State to the State Pen......
If one of your kids was one of the victims, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be carrying that "Innocent Until Proven Guilty" flag around. Hang em!
I wonder if he is looking forward to the showers in prison?
oh no, kelkeagy,
Just read the moronic comments about how JoePa contributed so much to Pedo/Penn state!!!
He turned a blind eye to it all so you should too!!!!
Or not.
Like...maybe a coffin!
SEE
There are more than one issue that trouble me with this situation. Not only the ones in high profile positions thinking they are above the law and who have been able to get away with this for so long without any punishment or public outcry but also the Judge who has not protected the victims by allowing Sandusky to be set free with limited bail and no community monitoring. None of them have any morals and the Judge should absolutely be ashamed of herself and ousted off the judicial bench!!! She definitely has political motives which are more important to her and her vagerant failure for not the protection of the victims. To me, she is just as guilty as all the Penn State staff by allowing this to go on and on for as long as it has. If he were anyone else, I can guarantee you he would be sitting in jail right now.
hardtoread: this isn't a court of law and we're not sitting on the jury. This is the court of public opinion, where you get to voice your opinion based on common sense.
This is just one example of how some people in power feel about our children, and the people who back them up. Un-fing believable. What is going on in our country? You get more time in jail for traffic tickets, than for child porn! Think this is an anomaly? "A former Adams County court official was sentenced Tuesday to 22 months of supervised probation in Cumberland County Court for having downloaded 101 images of child pornography on his home computer in Camp Hill. Gerald J. Berardi, Jr., 53, of the first block of Sussex Road, faced up to 9 months in county prison under state sentencing guidelines.
However, Judge Kevin Hess was swayed by Berardi’s expressions of remorse and by testimony on his behalf by a former boss and a friend. Hess said he also received “numerous” written letters of support for Berardi.
Former Adams County Court administrator Mark Grim told Hess he’d known Berardi six years and that his integrity was “above reproach.” Grim said he was “stunned” to learn of the charges against Berardi.
“This was entirely out of character,” Grim said. John Perry, a friend and neighbor, said Berardi always exhibited “the highest degree of moral character.”
Berardi told Hess, “What I did was the stupidest, dumbest thing I have ever done in my life.” The offense cost Berardi his career as an Adams County deputy court administrator.
Berardi must also do 100 hours of community service. "

My opinion has always been capital punishment for pedophiles. I think facing the death penalty would maybe suppress their little love feelings for children. My other suggestion is send his a$$ to Trinidad, CO and have a gender change then turn his nasty butt loose in the showers with Big Bubba Bob. This creep and all like him need to go away forever and ever amen.
Capital punishment is not punishment to the degree that this man will experience in prison. Those who have committed crimes like his don't fit in well--even in prison populations.
innocent until proven guilty? Yes, according to the justice system. Any living breathing soul with a few viable brain cells can figure this one out before his day in court. Read the grand jury presentation. The victims didn't collaborate prior to giving testimony and this animal's MO is consistent. He is toast.
JS in SD - obviously you didn't read the grand jury testimony. Not only did McQueery see him sodomizing a young boy, a janitor saw him orally pleasing a young boy. Sandusky admitted to the DA and police in 1998 that he showered and rough housed with a boy whose mother became suspicious when he came home with wet hair. Then 8 men, who had a lot to lose by testifying in front of a grand jury, told similar stories, even though they didn't all know each other. I don't need a judge and jury to tell me what I can already deduce from all of these statements. Obviously you have never experienced abuse. I hope you or your children won't have to. But the alarming numbers are now 1 in 3 children will experience sexual abuse. And here you are defending a pedophile. Perhaps you should spend your time more wisely by defending people who are a bit more worthy.
The Grand Jury indictment sums it all up.....JS in SD you need to read it and read it good. It is hard to read but it sheds some light on what a scum bag this creep really is......boys, that had no knowledge of what the other boys had said all said the same thing about the back cracking in the basement bedroom he made for these kids....the showers....all of it. Now who you going to believe? an old man that look sick to me now and built his world around children, lives behind a school play ground, admitted to showering with these BABIES paused when asked if he was "sexually attracted" to young boys.....or the now grown men who have come foward and said the same things in their statements not knowing what the other men said.....not only that but a mother confronted him in front of an officer!!!! Now there are children under the age of 18 coming foward???? the man is a sicko....he did this....and i wish there was a death penalty for this kind of crime. He screwed up MANY MANY lives and you are defending him........he is not innocent. i don't give a S#^T about the innocent until proven guilty....Casey Anthony trial did me in on that "law"
JD, I too have said the same thing and to all those who will jump on me, yes I read it, and I for one will say this. No, I don't think that Paterno had anything to do with this case, the media is whipping this into another mob mentality, a la Casey Athony, and let me say that if you folks continue to go after folks without a bit of evidence, it will not go well. People do not get convicted on heresay. That is what is wrong with people. I was flipping thru to see what Jane Velez Mitchell was talking about and one young man has come forward to say that Sandusky gave him a scrap book with articles, words of encouragement and pictures, and from what I saw, it was a scrap book but it was not creepy as Jane said it was. I am going to say it right now and I don't care what you say, but there better be some physical evidence in this case or it will be dismissed. I have a really strong feeling that there are some in the media who is blowing this in one direction, bringing out all of these folks (experts) who "know" that he did it, not saying that I want the victims on tv, but this is the same treatment that the prosecution got on the casey anthony case and they knew they had all the evidence in the world, which they didn't and that is why she got off. There was no direct evidence. As for McQueary, you need to ask this question to him, what did you get to keep your mouth shut about what you saw? Isn't it obvious, he got positions on the team and I bet you any money he was promised the head coaching job when Paterno retired. Also it did not state that McQueary told Paterno what he saw. I am not a penn state, Paterno or Sandusky fan. I hate college sports, especially football. I believe in the law, and I believe that there better be some serious evidence, not just circumstanial evidence of what happened or it will not go to court. As for the 1998 case, that would have been considered heresay and just because the man said he took a shower with a young boy that is not a crime. It is wrong, but it is not a crime. Also, about moral outrage, that is not on the books as a law, and whose morals are you going to use anyway? A lot of so called moral folks do bad things everyday but I guess they can get on their kneels and ask for forgiveness.
btowngirl, I hope you are never put in jail or accused of something you didn't do and experience what it is like to be guilty until proven innocent. I truly hope not, since this is what you are wishing on this man. I am not saying you should like him, but don't be surprised if he gets off due to what the media is doing.
@val......i don't kill my babies, molest little boys or girls, i am a mother i am a LAW ABIDING CITIZEN.....i will never be put in jail nor will i be accused of anything and be guilty until proven innocent. I don't shower with kids, give them bear hugs with an erection....i don't put myself in situations that would land me anywhere but home at night with my kids......so don't you worry about me.......i am appaled you are defending this sick MONSTER!!!!
@ JS in SD. On principle I see your point. We should not just assume anyone's guilt because they've been accused of a crime. However, there is lengthy grand jury report available for viewing with all the "evidence" you could want. In a case like this, what other evidence could there be besides testimony from victims? Even Paterno has admitted that he was informed of Sandusky's behavior and "should have done more". Honestly, there is no evidence suggesting that he is NOT guilty. The first reports date back over 10 years. You really think there has been a decade long conspiracy involving school employees and children to bring down Sandusky? As far as McQueary changing his story, I'm not sure what you're referring to. He's maintained that he saw Sandusky in the shower having sex with a young boy and reported it to Paterno. He benefits nothing (and risks quite a bit) from making this up. And if he was trying to destroy Sandusky for some unknown reason wouldn't he have made more of an effort to report what he saw to authorities? Seriously, what elements of the situation seem to suggest Sandusky is innocent? I see none.
Val....the one thing i do agree with.....media needs to lay off and let the court system take care of him, i also felt like a bag of s%$t when anthony got let off scot free because i was one of the million glued to the case.
Yes, he is innocent until proven guilty. However, he needs to be locked up until then, or at least monitored and prevented from having any interaction with children until his trial. The truly innocent (CHILDREN!) must be protected from pedophiles.
If he was a suspected serial killer, would he still be out free to reoffend until his trial? Even the guy accused of raping the hotel maid was on house arrest until the case was dropped. The judge blew it by not ordering, at the minimum, electronic monitoring or house arrest in this case.
Excuse me? What Sandusky has admitted... so far:
“I could say that I have done some of those things,” Sandusky said. “I have horsed around with kids. I have showered after workouts. I have hugged them and I have touched their legs without intent of sexual contact.”
..."without intent of sexual contact"? Excuse me?
yes there's a presumption of innocence until proven guilty and thank goodness, but cmon. Do you seriously believe for a freaking second that he's innocent?!?
It doesn't matter what I think, it is a matter of what the court can prove. I'm sorry, but there have been a lot of people getting out of jail due to DNA because people like you thought he was guilty because of accusations. How many times have the prosecution lied? It doesn't matter what Sandusky has said, that will not get him convicted because he has not said it in front of a judge. Another problem I have with this case is that folks are so surprised that someone like him has been charged instead of the creepy guy with the trenchcoat who flashes folks or just the strange looking guy. Pedophiles look like everyone else normal.
As for a suspected serial killer, I think it would depend on if there was evidence. I don't recall Bundy or Gacy being in jail on suspicion. Seriously, you folks need evidence real evidence to have someone arrested. Even thought Sandusky has not said that he penetrated a young boy, saying what he said can not get you in jail. As for the French guy in New York, the reason why he was in jail was evidence folks and the potential for flight. I guess one of the other reasons why Sandusky is not in jail is because they need a current witness with DNA evidence that matches his.
btwongirl, I am not defending this monster, I am defending the law. I am not letting the media sway me. I am going by the law. I do not do those things that he is accused of, and I am defending Paterno. Just because I stated that the courts better get their evidence together I get accused of defending Sandusky. The media is making a mockery of this case, taking everything and blowing it out of proportion (like the scapbook for example). Do me a favor, look at two cases, the McMartin Trial in California and the West Memphis 3 and tell me I am wrong. Then look at the Warren Jeffs case where you didn't hear anything except the trial was going on and the fact that he is now in jail for what he did. That is called no nationwide media coverage.
Let me explain why Casey Anthony got off, no real evidence to prove that she killed her daughter. No fingerprints no DNA. Also, Casey had the right to remind silent. Also, she had no record of abandoning the kid. She had no record with child protection agency. Also the biggest mistake imo is that the prosecution presented Casey as a loving mom. Also, she was charged wrong. Why would you do that unless you want to lose a case?
val: You used the term "blowing it out of proportion"...that's what the media and these newsvines do best. But it's even worse than is being reported here. (Now, I'm making no attempt to defend Sandusky...I suspect that there's too much smoke for there to be no fire.) But, the "good folks" of PA have gone so far as to fire Franco Harris, PSU running back from '68-'71 and Pittsburgh Steeler after that, from his post as a PR man for a foundation in Pittsburgh solely because he spoke out in support of Joe Paterno...not defending him in his actions, but merely pointing out that JoePa had contributed a LOT to PSU during his 60+year career there, and suggesting that people wait until all the facts are in before condemning him.
There's a LOT that stinks about this whole scenario at PSU, but I'm trying to limit my animosity to the one guy who's most likely guilty of abusing kids and getting him off the streets of State College until he is tried in an impartial court. THEN expand the investigation into who knew what, when, and deal with the results of that investigation at that time.
I find it ironic that JoePa was summarily fired after 61 years, but the judge who was filmed beating his special needs daughter with a belt in TX is suspended WITH pay.
And that is what my problem is with this whole scenario is that the attention is on Paterno, who did not molest/rape anybody and on the football program which had nothing to do with it at all. I am very upset with Paterno being fired and now this person Franco Harris as well, while McQueary keeps his job. Yes there is a whole lot that stinks in this, and yes, Sandusky should be the one everyone is mad at and those who SAW things and did nothing, not the hearsay folks. And as I have stated before, but I don't think on here, is the fact that I first learned of this on ESPN, I channel I don't really watch unless there is nothing else on and I am at the gym. BTW, not a penn state fan, or a sports fan, just a person who believes in the law.
Although my best guess is that Sandusky is guilty as hell, I don't see why people don't understand why he's out on bail. First, he's presumed innocent, second, there isn't too much likelihood of flight risk (unless you consider suicide), and third, he shouldn't have much chance to re-offend because nobody is going to let him anywhere near a kid now that this is all out in the open. He'd be insane to try to be anywhere near an accuser, so he isn't likely to intimidate anyone.
I think it is highly likely that the unsecured bail is only temporary, anyway.
Regarding direct evidence, there doesn't really need to be any. Most people convicted are sent up on a preponderance of circumstantial evidence (and sometimes less than that).
I can't FATHOM any judge not putting him in jail! People who drive drunk are put in jail without a trial. At least get this monster off the streets, and if they can't do that, take away his passport! He's less than an hour from Canada!
I think there is only concern about extradition if the death penalty is on the table, since there is no death penalty in Canada. I doubt Canada would want to endanger THEIR children by having Sandusky around.
I can't fathon the father of any of those kids not pumping 5 or 6 shots from a 12 gage shotgun right into the bastard's head. What the f*ck is wrong with people today?? No balls?? If it was MY kid it would be a done deal!!
Well, there was a mother in California that shot the man who molested her son. When the mother was convicted and incarcerated for murder her two children (including the boy) had to live with relatives and were separated. The boy never got the help his mother would have given him and his life was destroyed. So shooting the bastard is not a viable option.
I agree with the others (and the Constitution) that say "innocent until proven guilty." Every American citizen has a constitutional right to their day in court. Where are all those conservative strict constructionists now?
We're not sitting on the jury pamela. He'll have his day in court. And we out here get to read about victim after victim coming forward, about the accusations of rape in showers with an EYEWITNESS in addition to the victim, of inappropriate contact again and again that was reported but not to police already testified to in the grand jury that led to these charges, about taped conversations in which Sandusky admits to showering with young boys, alone, unsupervised, with no adults around, and in one case, a taped phone conversation by authorities in which the mother of that raped boy tells Sandusky she's cutting off all contact between him and her son, he responds with 'I wish I were dead'. YOU may choose to believe all of that means absolute nothing. Some of us are capable of using common sense EVEN when we know he has a right to a trial. I am guessing Sandusky will never make it to trial. He will plead because of the sheer weight of this evidence from so many victims and witnesses knowing that many people who would sit on his jury are fully capable of using common sense and rendering a verdict.
These people, and Im not only talking about Sandusky. arent in jail because they have power to hide things. Why did this take so long to get out, why are all these victims out there, why is Penn St still playing football and getting ready for a bowl game? Those in power led by St Paterno have power and the football program is the source of that power and because of that things get hidden. Whatever happens make sure you are at the football games and be sure to watch the bowl game, it will take your mind off miserable crimes committed in its name and glory.
@tom 300459......you and i are on the EXACT same page here.....i have said it over and over....had it been one of my kids, i'd be sittin in prison right now!
How do you know 'Ol SanDOUCHEky hadn't "tried" the silly 'ho "judge" too?
I can't even believe he got bail in the first place! They are locking up youngsters here in Virginia Beach, Virginia City jail for things like alleged burglary and robbery (not to downplay the crime) and the judges here will not even consider giving them a bond.
Unfortunately that's because the judge who released him used to volunteer at the place where Sandusky preyed on all his victims. She knew the victims, their parents, Sandusky, then releases him on his own recognizance like he got cuaght driving without his license. She was wrong for even hearing the case.
The Judge who heard the initial appearance should have recused herself without question - ethically and morally. That was her 'duty' and if she didn't realize that, she has no business sitting on the bench - where, impartiallity is key. She had a 'duty' to inform both the prosecution and the defense (team) . . . by failing to do so, she has shown a bisas and should be removed from the bench without delay. Not just from hearing issues in this case, but if she can't adhere to the stirict code of judicial responsibility - from hearing any cases of any nature.
Virginia Beach judges are biased and unfair. They see themselves as gods. Some of them should be disbarred and put under a bench.
I couldn't believe it either, that a judge would allow the release of a man accused of molesting EIGHT children. Now, I read in the article above that every judge in the county has recused themselves from the case! Does that include the initial judge who let him go free? If so, he SHOULD be going to jail with the out-of-county judge he sees next. Of course, they keep pushing his next court date back, so who knows how much more time he'll have to try to disappear.
Oh his attorney is worried they might put him in jail! REALLY! That's exactly where he belongs, the kids he molested and raped have been in their own jails for years!!
What a travesty this scenario is.
Amendola, Sandusky's lawyer, said, "My concern is, if they bring new charges based upon new people coming forward, that bail's going to be set and he's going to wind up in jail"...........That PIECE OF GARBAGE should already BE IN JAIL!!! The WHOLE THING connected to this case just makes me sick! Penn State, McQueary who witnessed the rape of a 10 yr old innocent little boy and LEFT without helping that child, to all the other scum who did not notify police and try to cover everything up....I hope they can't sleep for years and should be punished/sued. Would McQueary have walked away if it had been HIS SON??????????//
Amen JG!
Have you read or heard anything about his attorney? Let's just say that Sandusky & his atty share a common interest in children.....I about puked when I heard the report.....sheesh!!
I agree the guy should be killed. I'm not defending him, but I can guarantee you that everyone is going to jump on the money train now. If you even drove by Penn State University during that timeframe, I'm sure you were molested.
Only a person who has never experienced how brutal it is to come forward to make this kind of claim would say something so naive. Even years after a child has experienced this kind of violence, even as adults they're still often terrified and ashamed, and the thought of having to stand up in court, face their abuser and tell that story to the world is really awful. You may find some "joiners" for the money or notoriety, but they'll fall away quickly when Sandusky's lawyers turn the heat on. No matter what anyone says, I err on the side of believing a person who comes forward to say they were victimized because they know they're going to have to go through hell again to get to the other side of it.
I agree with breeze6839, there will be a lot of opportunists with the large amount of settlement money involved. Just one questions though.........where in the world did Sandusky get this "lawyer" ? Maybe Sandusky should be asking to see this guy's credentials.....lol
Breeze: That's ALWAYS the claim. The alleged victims are always accused of lying and their names, their reputations and sometimes their families pay for it for a very, very long time. Every time a woman or a child is involved in an accused rape or molestation, there will be those quick to do what you've just done...assume they are after a big payout. There are no end of people like you allleging perpetrators are always telling the truth, especially if they don't LOOK like monsters and ESPECIALLY if they're famous. No matter who you believe...that child or the young adults will now have to come forward and give deposition aftr deposition, be cross examined and then provide credible evidence in a court, probably several courts...times, places, details. You may think all kinds of alleged victims are lining up to do that...to have their names and faces smeared across the planet and be vicimized again so that you and others can heap scorn on them (plural, because this time there are so MANY to not be believed)...one young man has already been drummed out of high school by his classmates for DARING to come forward and stand up to his abuser...They and you are on the WRONG SIDE of justice and of simple common decency..I guess their excuse is that they are not yet adults.
AP...
I agree completely with your post. To be a victem of rape, sex abuse, etc., is horrific and traumatizing enough, but to go public with it and live that story over and over while telling it to everyone, GOD, and their brother in a court of law while being judged is beyond comprehension. This story is more so about the victims than the perpetrator and in the 11th hour, I hope Sandusky and Penn State have the decency to hear all the accounts of potential victms in PRIVATE, with CONFIDENTIAL, SEALED depositions and testimony's, and then take it a step further and settle with with victims BEFORE this goes to trial. I believe that someone who comes forward with their wretched story of abuse is looking for justice as well as a need to gain control back in their life and over their abuser, vs hopping on the money train...
We've seen time and time again, that victims who come forward with horrific abuse stories are often not believed as many judgemental and suspicious people in the public find the crime hard to imagine ever happening, or the perp is a powerful or popular member of the community with a good reputation. Case in point: Kobe Bryant, Dominc Strauss Kahn, Jerry Sandusky, etc.... I hope the high school that the victim left because of bullying expel the kids who were doing the bullying. Their principal and administration should be ashamed!! Not to metion sued for failing to protect this student from harassment and condoning an environment ripe for bullying. Sorry, but child abuse takes precidence over Joe Pa's and Penn State's reputation/
Breeze, ask yourself the question... would you come out and say someone molested you, just to get money? Go to court, LIE under oath, LIE to everyone in your family, your friends, reporters, a judge, jury, attorneys... just to get money? Then have to lie about it for the rest of your life, remember all the lies you made up, and hope no one finds out the truth? I doubt anyone, even a so-called "opportunist," would do that, ESPECIALLY when it comes to claims of child molestation.
First of all...if your child looked at you and said..."that man touched me funny." Is that man innocent until proven guilty in your eyes? Or would you want him locked up until he's proven innocent (which you know damn well he's not) but hey, maybe you'll let him share a room with your kids while he's waiting for his day in court!!!! We are talking about children. Wake up.
The idea young men are coming forward to tell their stories to get money is the pathetic line used by Sandusky's lawyer. What will the court have to say if these two cases with victims under 18, occurred during the three years it took for the grand jury to reach its conclusions? He's out on bail. He lives behind an elementary school. He apparently goes to the mall. There isn't even a provision in his bail to keep him away from children. He's a sexual predator on the loose.
The ONLY reason McQueary became the so-called whistle blower is because he knew what was coming down the pike and he felt if he hollered first, he would not be implicated. He did this to cover his own a$$. Everyone single one from the top down to the bottom must go. Sandusky is now up to 10 victims he has abused, his back yard adjoins a school playground and the pedophile is HOME! Who is asleep at the wheels of justice in the State of PA?
There needs to be a re-visit to the bail conditions and Sandusky not having to place any amount down for bail. He also needs to be monitored, at his expense, if he wants to be out of jail pending legal proceedings heading to trial. If Sandusky cracks over all the allegations and new ones cropping up who knows what he might do. Keep the public and our precious children safe and lock him up. Let his attorney visit him in jail while he awaits trial. The judge the originally gave Sandusky the easy bail really should be off the bench, permanently. What a huge conflict of interest.
I agree...where's the ankle monitor and GPS tracker for his vehicle?
Maybe the judge that let him out on bail so easily was makeing sure he could go home and distroy evedence on his computer etc. Evedence that might show a bad light on the second mile charity and her.
THE "GOOD BUDDY" judge that let him have bail needs to be in jail along with Sandusky. There will no telling how many he abused over that long period of time. Joe Pa could have been intrumental in stopping this pervert...easily. What a pathetic shame on his part.
This guy may be the worst pediphile that has to come notoriety in many many years.
yeah the God Buddy judged had put some time in working at Second Mile too.
And made donations to the foundation...
LOCK UP this perverted queer, forget about the bail. This greasy sump no doubt has other victims out there. The judge should be tarred/feathered ,then run out on a rail for letting this trash walk around free!
"Everybody is going to jump on the money train" I had these same words uttered to me on the Catholic Church scandel. My answer was "How many people are too embarrassed to come forward" How long has Sandusky molested boys? How long has Penn State covered up his crimes? In the Catholic, this molesting problem has been going on for hundreds of years.
The FBI needs to take over this afffair!! And the NCCA is complicit also. All about money!! they all knew
Total agreement. The NCAA knows everything. They should be put under oath themselves.
Its the truth though isn't it? There will be MANY who jump on the train just to get a few million dollars who were never even molested. Happens every time. Molesters should be executed and their bodies buried in a landfill. Let them be buried with all the rest of the garbage.
Breeze, maybe I don't keep up enough with the news, but your comment, "Happens every time." Could you give me an example of one time that you're referring to?
Why is this guy even out on Bail? That Judge should have more sense then to let him go.
Oh Sandusky's attorney is afraid he might do a lil bit of time, well he better get used to it, right along with Bubba and his pals making sure he never forgets WHY he is doing time....
exactly pup!! bubba would make sure he makes his time "memorable'!!
Bubba may not worry a fella like this, sounds like it might be his kind of action. He may already be destined as a "coach" for the State Pen Booty Bandits.
With so many "alleged" victims of sexual assault, it flies in the face of logic that this individual is not locked up, to remove any possibility to hurt additional people!
His statements with Bob Kostas interview were haunting... who would ever say "I should not have showered with those boys"? Think of one word: manipulator.
There are two equally equivalent priorities here: lock this guy up, and, find and get help for the abused boys since they will suffer even after they receive guidance/treatment because of what Sandusky did to them.
I agree, GET THIS ANIMAL OFF THE STREETS, and save our boys from his filthy hands!! He should be in prison!! Like we dont have enough pervs out there!! those poor boys he touched, will need years of therapy now!!
Tick, tick, tick.
Is Sandusky married? Have children? (Of his own, that is.) Haven't heard word one about a reaction from a wife or relative.
He's married and has 6 adopted children
Guess the good ole boy system isn't just alive in the police force....
I'll bet Sandusky's attorney is hoping for 12 idiots in PA is step forward and take the jury box as they did in Florida...
Hopefully, the jurors in PA are smarter than in some counties of FL. I can say that because I live in FL.
Carol: I hope so, too, but can't guarantee it. I can say that because I was raised in PA, and graduated from Penn State!
Pedophiles don't just begin to molest children at an old age; I bet this monster began when he was a teenager. There are probably a great deal more boys he raped, many of them men now who may be too ashamed to say anything.
As previously stated, this is such an injustice that he isn't behind bars right now. Shame on that female judge for granting him such a low bond and not locking his behind up!
Locking him up may just LIBERATE his behind!
I have read nothing about Sandusky's wife being accused. If he did what he is accused of some of which was in his home then she almost certainly knew of something. The Grand Jury should call her for questioning.
I just love the mob mentality displayed here.
Hey Genius SMARTEN UP! You'relucky it's only on here and not in front of his house!Mob mentality, this piece of sh it is getting off easy,As I told your buddy on page two he's lucky somebody hasn't shot or strangled him yet.
However, his home has been vandalized on two separate occasions...
